America First Policies Announces Three New Staff Members
Today, America First Policies announced three new additions to its staff.
Erin Montgomery joined America First as Communications Director in late June. Ms. Montgomery served as Communications Director for Governor Larry Hogan’s Coordinating Offices and as Press Secretary on the 2014 campaign for Hogan, whose victory in deep-blue Maryland was considered the biggest upset of the election season. Her previous experience includes working as a Press Secretary for Congressman Andy Harris, M.D., of Maryland’s 1st District, and developing content for the exhibits at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
Ann Pierce joined the team as Office Manager earlier this month. Ms. Pierce came to America First from the U.S. House of Representatives. She served as an Administrative Officer on the House Homeland Security Committee, where she was responsible for all logistics for committee hearings, markups, and events. Ms. Pierce also worked as a Scheduler and Office Manager for Congressman Ralph Abraham, M.D., of Louisiana’s 5th District.
Also joining the team this month as Director of Development is Joseph Ahearn, who brings over a decade of experience in government affairs at both the state and federal level. In his previous position as Vice President of Development at Sentinel Strategic Advisors, Mr. Ahearn managed campaign and finance operations for the firm’s clients. He has also worked on campaigns at every level of government, in addition to the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee.
“We’re very excited to build our staff at America First, and we extend a warm welcome to Erin, Ann, and Joe,” said Brian Walsh, president of America First Policies. “We’re a small team with big talent, and we look forward to working on behalf of the American people to make our country safer, stronger, and more prosperous.”
