America First Policies Takes “Tax Cuts to Put America First” Tour to the Grand Canyon State
America First Policies made its 13th stop on its “Tax Cuts to Put America First” tour on Tuesday, May 1, at the Phoenix Marriott Resort Tempe at The Buttes in Phoenix, Arizona.
The series, “Tax Cuts to Put America First,” features guest speakers discussing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act—signed into law by President Donald J. Trump in December 2017.
The event opened with a greeting and remarks from former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and featured a panel with U.S. Congressman Andy Biggs (AZ-05); President & CEO of the Job Creators Network, Alfredo Ortiz; local business owner and founder of HT Metals, Carlos Ruiz; and Michaela Raner, founder & CEO of Moguls Media. The panel discussed how the tax legislation is affecting Arizona residents, families, and businesses, and the nation as a whole.
Following the panel, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey introduced the Vice President to a crowd of more than 600 people.
“...These tax cuts the President signed into law are going to save a typical family of four here in Arizona about $2,100 a year on your taxes. But that’s only half the story. Because you’ll also see more in your paychecks because we cut taxes for job creators as well,” said the Vice President.
