America First Policies Takes “Tax Cuts to Put America First” Tour to Wheeling, West Virginia
America First Policies made its 22nd stop on its “Tax Cuts to Put America First” tour yesterday, July 26, at the Oglebay Resort and Conference Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.
The series, “Tax Cuts to Put America First,” features guest speakers discussing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act—signed into law by President Donald J. Trump in December 2017.
The group's new Vice Chairwoman, Kimberly Guilfoyle, made her debut serving as emcee.
The event featured a panel with Governor Jim Justice; President of Dutch Miller Automotive, Chris Miller; President and CEO of Professional Services of America, Judy Kay Sheppard; and President and CEO of the Job Creators Network, Alfredo Ortiz. The panel discussed how the tax legislation is affecting West Virginia residents, families, and businesses, and the nation as a whole.
After the panel, Attorney General Patrick Morrisey addressed the audience, followed by Governor Jim Justice who introduced the Vice President to a crowd of 400 people.
“We cut taxes for working families – and the typical family of four in West Virginia will save nearly $2,000 every year on their taxes. We cut taxes for businesses large and small so that companies here in West Virginia can compete and win with companies anywhere in the world,” said the Vice President.
