America First Policies Takes “Tax Cuts to Put America First” Tour to St. Louis, Missouri
America First Policies made its 18th stop on its "Tax Cuts to Put America First" tour yesterday, July 19, at the Marriott St. Louis Grand in St. Louis, Missouri.
The series, "Tax Cuts to Put America First," features guest speakers discussing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act--signed into law by President Donald J. Trump.
The event featured a panel with several local business leaders including the Owner of Hansen’s Tree Service, Chad Hansen; Owner of McFarland Interiors, Debbie McFarland; Owner of Antennas Direct Inc., Richard Schneider; and policy expert and President and CEO of the Job Creators Network, Alfredo Ortiz. The panel discussed how the tax legislation is affecting Missouri residents, families, and businesses, and the nation as a whole.
Following the panel, Attorney General Josh Hawley introduced the Vice President to a crowd of 350 people.
“We cut taxes for working families – and the typical family of four in the St. Louis area will save nearly $2,600 every year on their taxes. We cut taxes for businesses large and small so that companies here in Missouri can compete and win with companies anywhere in the world,” said the Vice President.
